Common Questions

Does SubControl connect to my bank?

No. SubControl does not connect to banks, payment cards, or financial institutions.

Do I need an account?

No. SubControl does not require an account or login.

Where is my data stored?

Your subscription data is stored locally on your device.

Does SubControl cancel subscriptions automatically?

No. SubControl provides cancellation instructions only. You must cancel directly with the service, Apple, Google Play, or the provider you subscribed through.

Can I export my data?

Yes. SubControl supports CSV export and encrypted backup/restore when available in your plan.

How do encrypted backups work?

Your backup is encrypted before it leaves your device. SubControl cannot recover your backup password if you forget it.

How do I restore purchases?

Open SubControl → Settings → Restore Purchases, or use Restore Purchases from the Pro screen.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete subscriptions inside the app or remove the app from your device to delete locally stored app data, subject to your device backup settings.
